7ème PCRD – Programme Santé
Projet en cours de montage INCO-Net MIRA dédié à la coopération sur le pourtour méditerranéen cherche des partenaires possibles pour la ligne : Health 2011.2.4.3-4 : Genetic and environmental factors in obesity and/or diabetes in specific populations. FP7-HEALTH-2011-two-stage.
Résumé : The research should aim at understanding the genetic and environmental factors causing variations in prevalence and incidence of metabolic disorders in specific, well characterised populations that show a significantly altered risk of developing metabolic disorders in a new place or situation. The successful project should be based on new comparisons between populations in their original and new environment, e.g. as immigrant populations. Emphasis should be placed on the role of genetic, environmental and/or lifestyle factors, as well as their interactions, on the incidence, prevalence, and age of onset of metabolic disorders. Each project should focus on a particular geographical region. The European Commission services will ask all selected projects at the negotiation stage to interact together and with related projects from selected third countries. Active participation of SMEs could lead to an increased impact of the research proposed and this will be considered in the evaluation of the proposal. Proposers should take into account existing EU funded projects, including from the FP6 Food-Agri-Biotech programme, such that overlap be avoided. Note: Limits on the EU financial contribution apply. These are implemented strictly as formal eligibility criteria.
Funding scheme: Specific International Cooperation Action (SICA), Collaborative Project (small or medium-scale focused research project) target regions: Mediterranean countries, Africa, Asia Latin-America).
EU contribution per project: Maximum EUR 3 000 000.
Expected impact: The selected project are expected to ultimately guide lifestyle intervention programmes, including but not limited to diet and physical activity, taking into account situations of malnutrition and possible multigenerational effect. Findings will need to be relevant for populations, both in their home countries and immigrant populations in Europe and throughout the world. It is expected that novel genetic and other risk factors for diabetes and obesity will be identified will lead to improved diagnosis and treatment and possibly the development of novel therapeutic targets. The cooperation between the selected projects and other national projects from selected third countries will have to ensure a global impact beyond the specific populations studied.
Recherche de partenaire : pour un projet collaboratif se focalisant sur le pourtour Méditerranéen il y a des partenaires italiens, espagnols, finlandais, Egyptiens, marocains… mais pas de Français pour l'instant, ni de PME.

Recherche de partenaire : Partners for Diffusion of knowledge on passive cooling for buildings
Résumé : A Univerity from Northern Germany is looking for partners to join a consortium under the IEE call 2. The project "build cool" will focus on developing and disseminating educational material on passive cooling methods for buildings based on adaptive comfort models. Titre du projet : Quality and safety aspects of feed.
Résumé : An Italian University is developing a collaborative research project on FP7, theme "Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology". The project consists in the design and development of new special functional, nutraceutical products focusing the attention on microbial foods. These microbial food supplements, known as probiotics, beneficially affect the host animal by improving its intestinal microbial balance. The company is looking for partners at european level. Résumé : A Hungarian research centre intended to submit a proposal to the FP7 “Research for SME Associations” call (FP7-SME-2010) is inviting SME Associations of wine producers along with a member company to contribute in developing an automated sampling technique for the detection of Ochratoxin A in wine.
